THE GIVING JOURNAL 2017 BY THE COFFEE BEAN AND TEA LEAF

11/16/16
The holidays overflow with joy and meaning when blessings are shared with friends, family, and community. There is no better way to share the warmth of the season than by generously pouring into the cups of others, especially the cups of those in need.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® hopes to remind everyone that life is about what we can contribute to the world during this #SeasonOfGiving. It’s what we share from our genuine hearts to make a diffrence in other people’s lives. With the 2017 Giving Journal,  we hope to inspire you to begin writing your Giving Journey.

The holiday season is upon us and with it comes joyful Christmas carols and happy reunions with loved ones. It also marks the end of another year. As we ink the final pages of 2016, we look forward to the possibilities that lay ahead of us.

As the Christmas season approaches and a new year draws near, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® reminds us that life is not about what we amass for ourselves, but about how we can share our gifts, talents, and time with others.

From October 22 onwards, customers can already begin their Giving Journey as the collecting of stamps for the 2017 Giving Journal commences in all The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® stores.

Each stamp card consists of 12 circles with corresponding purchased drink assignments. All 12 stamps must be accumulated in one stamp card to claim the journal. A box of CBTL™ capsules earns the customer two stamps, while any CBTL™ Single Serve Beverage System purchase automatically allows a customer to claim the 2017 Giving Journal.

Available in 4 colorsrose, purple, gray, and turquoise, the Giving Journal is a useful planner and a medium for generosity where you can begin writing the beautiful story of your own Giving Journey.

Each icon you find on the four covers of the 2017 edition of The Giving Journal is a graphic representation of how The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® commits to giving back to the community, through promoting goodwill and social responsibility.

Through the 2017 Giving Journal, you empower scholars by giving them gifts of education through the Real LIFE Foundation, the Giving Journal’s beneficiary since 2011. By supporting their educational needs, you bring them one step closer to achieving their goals, enabling their dreams to take flight.

Begin your Giving Journey by giving the gift of education this holiday season. Enable the dreams of Real LIFE scholars to take flight with the 2017 Giving Journal. Each month of the year begins with a sketch that symbolizes the various commitments of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®. They inspire each individual to be part of the Giving Journey by highlighting the advocacies of their partner organizations, how they can take action and get involved through its pages.

One such advocacy is the Real LIFE Foundation, an organization committed to serving the poor through education, character development, and community service. Centered on supporting Real LIFE’s hopeful mission, every Giving Journal redeemed throughout the holiday season will enable the dreams of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®’s  scholars to take flight.

Throughout the pages of the 2017 Giving Journal, every individual will find inspiration to brew their best year yet by becoming the best version of themselves, by making a positive difference in the world and living a life full of love and service for others.

  1. It's my second year of having The Giving Journal and I'm so happy I got one again for next year. I'm a journal hoarder so just imagine my delight. I really like the way CBTL promotes this kind of social awareness. After all, giving is one of the best ways to love ourselves and other people.

  11. The black-colored journal looks good to me. But, it doesn't sink into my mind that people gets crazy to buy coffee and collect stamps or stickers to get a journal. :3

  18. I have a bad habit of collecting planners and never actually using them, hahaha. Like I had the giving journal this year and I didn't even manage to write on one page. I still would like to get one for next year...

  19. Hahaha... I started collecting Journals from SB when my former Team lead introduced me that kind of craze. At first I reacted like, why in the hell i buy coffee just for the Journal but then lately I realized, It was not the Journal that I want, it was the coffee. I just made it as an excuse to buy coffee often. LOL

I love that gray Journal Though. pangahatag na na bi... :)

  20. Before I joined blogging. I am also collecting Journals because working in a BPO as a Team Lead this is very useful to jut down notes when you were on a meeting. Right now, collecting it is not my habit anymore :) but I love to own 1 giving journal by SB :)

  22. That's a really good cause but these planners are too expensive for me. I don't even think I had a planner this year; I just scribble everything everywhere so I'm basically a jumbled mess. I will try to be more organized next year but I'll probably have everything online. :D

  23. Im a coffee drinking but I seldom go to coffee shops, although we buy ground coffee over coffee shops for everyday use. Great to know that there's a great cause behind the project. :)

  24. I am happy with my purple planner. Hopefully, I can collect another one or I would have just to steal one from the coffee addict named Jullian.
